Pixel Titans' procedurally-generated first-person shooter Strafe looks like a lot of nostalgia-infused fun, but fans will have to wait a little longer than expected before they start painting the walls red.
Pixel Titans had previously announced a March 28 release for the PC version of the game, but that date has slipped to May 9. However, there's a good reason for the delay: Strafe will now be launching simultaneously on PC and PS4. The PS4 version had been announced previously, but without a concrete time frame for when it would be released.
In case you missed our previous coverage, Strafe is a roguelike FPS sporting procedurally-generated levels and a '90s-era retro aesthetic. Players only have one life per run, but can purchase upgrades from merchants to give them a fighting chance.
Strafe has been a hit at tradeshows for years, so waiting another month or so isn't the end of the world – especially if it means PS4 owners can get in on the action at the same time.
