Halo players have been creating interesting maps, vehicles and other things using the franchise’s map creation tool for years, but this Power Rangers-themed creation is one of the best yet.
One of the newest creations made by Forgers — a term used for players who use the game’s Forge mode to edit and create — is pretty incredible. It features the entire recreation of a Dino Megazord transformation from The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Dino Megazord was one of the the first Megazords introduced in Power Rangers and fans of the series may remember the elaborate transformation the Rangers went through while in their personal Dinozords to form it.
The video, which includes the original soundtrack and dialogue, has quickly garnered attention in the Forging community. It was created by a Halo 5 player who goes by Yukikage on Twitter and retweeted by Halo’s franchise director Frank O’Connor. O’Connor said on Twitter he wanted to be able to highlight Yukikage and bring attention to the incredible creations coming out of the forging community.

For reference, here’s the original Dino Megazord being formed for The Mighty Power Rangers.
The Dino Megazord was most recently featured in the 2017 Power Rangers live-action movie. Although the film wasn’t based entirely on The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series, it did include familiar characters and Zords, like the dinosaur-inspired one.
Halo’s Forge mode was first introduced in Halo 3 in 2007 by Bungie as a way for players to create, edit and save maps in custom games. Forge Labs, a prominent YouTube channel with more than 100,000 subscribers, has collected a number of creations that have been made over the years in Forge Mode.
It should be mentioned, though, that the Dino Megazord is still the coolest. Be prepared to have the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers theme song stuck in your head for the rest of the day if you choose the watch the videos.
