We’re a month or so out from the release of Journey to Un’Goro, the latest expansion set for Hearthstone, and it seems developer Blizzard is finally ready to start unveiling some of the cards that will be featured in the new expansion.
In a livestream beginning today at 11 a.m. PT, Hearthstone senior designer Peter Whalen will be joined by popular streamer Sean “Day9” Plott to show off new cards and discuss more about the expansion. Blizzard hasn’t specified how many cards will be revealed today, but with 135 planned for the expansion, they could show quite a few and still have room to spread out more reveals over the course of the next month.
Based on the Journey to Un’Goro reveal, there are at least a few things you can expect. Blizzard will probably want to show off more quests, a new legendary card type that gives players a long-term goal to accomplish over the course of a match in exchange for a very powerful reward card. We’ll also likely see more of adapt, a new keyword that gives minions a chance to change and grow more powerful.
You can watch the full stream live in the Twitch player embedded above beginning at 11 a.m. PT. Stay tuned to Polygon for further Journey to Un’Goro coverage in the lead up to its planned mid-April launch.
